Ever Seen This Map Before?

I'm sure 99% of Americans haven't. And the government would like to keep it that way as long as possible. It's called the International Mid-Continent Trade Corridor, but those who really know whats going on know that its another piece of a much larger puzzle. While America sleeps, the SuperCorridor fromMexico to Canada is being built, right through the heart of the USA - another step toward the North American Union. Then again, most Americans haven't heard of the North American Union either.

The skeptics can scoff all they want, but its clear that our government is in cahoots with other powers that be, to merge the US, Canada, and Mexico into a North American Union, similar to the European Union. Another incremental step toward the coming World Government/New World Order. EagleForum has a good page with information on the NAU. and the John Birch Society has some good infomation on this page too.

Article: Ushering In One World Religon

This article is a few years old but it really resonated with me, so I thought I'd post it.

Dec 27, 2002 CBN.comGENEVA, Switzerland — A one world government and a one world religion — it may just sound like fiction from the popular "Left Behind" novel series. But some Christians say this scenario may be closer than most people think.

Earlier this fall in Geneva, hundreds of spiritual and religious leaders met at the United Nations for a peace summit. And although all the major faiths were there, including some who claim to represent Christianity, it was clear that Jesus was not invited.

The event was actually the first ever UN summit of women religious leaders. Mournful cries could be heard emanating from one of the meetings as more than 500 women from more than 70 countries came to talk about ways to achieve world peace. Most were from "Eastern religions" — Buddhists, Taoists and Hindus.

And a woman named "Amma," who is known as the "hugging saint," came with her own band of followers. She claims to be able to impart "divine love and wisdom" in her hug. She said, "It's not only hugging but it is also imparting that spiritual principal into people, so to have them know who they are, so once you know that, peace will spontaneously happen."

Honorary Chair Shirley MacLaine, known for her adventures into New Age, did not show, but several celebrities did, including Linda Evans, Lindsay Wagner and Linda Gray of "Dallas" fame.

Wow!

Maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I still cant get used to this whole anything-is-acceptable view of sexuality nowadays. So here I am looking up some stuff on Google, and I run across someone's obituary, a 25 year old man; and among the loved ones he leaves behind is his husband (??!!) Maybe I'm a little slow here, but...since when do men have husbands? I had to keep reading it over and over just to make sure I was understanding it right. Couldnt help but shake my head and say "Wow"! Just another sign of our changing times.

Mormons miffed over coffee-swilling angel image

Interesting news article; the Mormon Church is apparently miffed about some unauthorized T-Shirts being sold showing the angel Moroni drinking coffee. (Coffee drinking is a big no-no in the Mormon Church). This is the same angel Moroni who supposedly brought the new "revelation" of Mormonism to Joseph Smith, the founder of the Mormon religion. On the cover of every Book of Mormon it is subtitled "Another Testament of Jesus Christ". They call it "another testament". I call it what it really is: "another gospel". The Bible warns against those who teach "another gospel"

Don't the Mormons understand the scripture that says: "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed." ? (Galatians 1:8)

And I remembered that the Muslims also say that "an angel" , this time Gabriel, supposedly, brought them their message to their prophet (Mohammed). Mohammed supposedly wrote the Koran as he was given the message by this so-called angel.

As I read the article I thought to myself how much the Mormons and the Muslims would take a giant leap closer to the truth if they'd simply pay attention to what the Word of God says. Meanwhile, beware of anyone who says "an angel" brought him a new gospel, new revelation, or whatever they wish to call it.

"for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (2 Cor. 11:14) . Peace.

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (AP) -- For a coffee shop, T-shirts of a Mormon angel with java flowing into his trumpet are selling well. But they don't have the blessing of religious leaders.
The shirts have upset the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Not only is the angel Moroni a revered figure -- Mormons believe he appeared to church founder Joseph Smith -- but church members are discouraged from drinking coffee.
The shirts show Moroni, a male figure in a robe blowing a trumpet. The trumpet is turned up at an angle as coffee is poured in.
"They've been the best-selling T-shirts we've ever done," said Just Add Coffee co-owner Ed Beazer.
The church informed Beazer that the angel's image is a registered trademark....

Rising STD rate sparks online dating sites

This is nothing but an amazing and sad commentary on our times. From this cnn.com article:

One in four women is infected with genital herpes, and nearly one in five men according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And a study in this week's Journal of the American Medical Association finds that one in four women has human papillomavirus, which can cause genital warts and cervical cancer.

When man strays from God's ways and God's will, this is the kind of thing that happens. The sexual permissiveness we've been seeing over the past 30 years or so is now bearing some ugly fruit. And something tells me it's only going to get worse. The chickens, as they say, are coming home to roost. Very sad.
