Article: Sex abuse testimony ends Alamo's long crime career

Of all the horrid accusations against evangelist Tony Alamo — and the list is long — it was the testimony of formerly loyal subjects, recounting "marriages" between their cult leader and girls as young as 8, that may end his 40-year rule and send him to prison for life.

Born Bernie Lazar Hoffman, the 74-year-old faces up to 175 years behind bars following his conviction Friday on 10 counts of transporting young girls across state lines for sexual purposes. Some jurors wept while women described being molested by and forced into sex with their decades-older pastor.

Among many who've watched Alamo's handiwork since the 1970s — which produced allegations including kidnapping, brainwashing, child abuse, tax evasion and threatening a federal judge — there was never any doubt the street-hustler-turned-pastor should be locked away for good. Their question is, what took so long?

Video: The Greatest Story Ever Mistold

This Youtube video deals with some of the lies in the internet film Zeitgeist. In "The Greatest Story Ever Told", part one of the film, it proceeds o supposedly reveal the true origins of Christianity. The film is alreadyb being hailed as "revealing", breathtaking, and revelatory by those who've been taken in by it's lies. However, the film is full of half-truths and outright lies, all put together to deceive.

The film is just one of many demonic endtime deceptions the bible warns us about. Christians realy need to become at leat somewhat familiar with these types of anti-Christian arguments, so as to be prepared to respond to them. The devil is looking to undermine Christianity at the most fundamental level -- that is, to make Christianity seem to be just a concocted faith, pieced together by a group of men borrowing from previously existing faith traditions. Are there some who will be deceived by this type of lie? Of course. Many already have. But woe to them if they let themselves be deceived by the lie of the enemy.

McCain Lawyers Investigated Obama Citizenship

Can we now finally, finally see the end of these obsessive, stupid, nutty, quixotic "Obama was born overseas/Obama is not a US citizen" campaigns that some obsessive right wingers have been waging for over a year now? Can we get some sanity on this ?

For those who're still obsessing on this issue: the man is president. He is a legal US citizen. Please...get over it and move on with your life.

McCain Lawyers Investigated Obama Citizenship

As we asked earlier this week, if questions over President Obama's citizenship were valid, wouldn't they have come out during the presidential campaign?

David Weigel talked with Trevor Potter and other lawyers for Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign who said that they did look into the Obama citizenship rumors and found them without merit.

Said Potter: "To the extent that we could, we looked into the substantive side of these allegations. We never saw any evidence that then-Senator Obama had been born outside of the United States. We saw rumors, but nothing that could be sourced to evidence. There were no statements and no documents that suggested he was born somewhere else. On the other side, there was proof that he was born in Hawaii. There was a certificate issued by the state's Department of Health, and the responsible official in the state saying that he had personally seen the original certificate. There was a birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser, which would be very difficult to invent or plant 47 years in advance."

The Walter Cronkite Few Americans Knew

The media is saddened by the passing a few days ago of Walter Cronkite. He was certainly a legend in broadcast journalism. But there was also a radical side to him that few Americans knew, and that the mainstream media didn't talk about. In particular, Cronkite was an ardent supporter of a future World Government, as shown in a recent wnd.com article.

In 1999, he appeared at the United Nations to accept the Norman Cousins Global Governance Award from the World Federalists Association. He told those assembled, including Hillary Rodham Clinton, that the first step toward achieving a one-world government- his personal dream – is to strengthen the United Nations.

"It seems to many of us that if we are to avoid the eventual catastrophic world conflict we must strengthen the United Nations as a first step toward a world government patterned after our own government with a legislature, executive and judiciary, and police to enforce its international laws and keep the peace," he said. "To do that, of course, we Americans will have to yield up some of our sovereignty. That would be a bitter pill. It would take a lot of courage, a lot of faith in the new order."

In his acceptance speech, Cronkite added, "Pat Robertson has written in a book a few years ago that we should have a world government, but only when the Messiah arrives. He wrote, literally, any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the devil. Well, join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan."

Later, in an interview with the BBC, Cronkite described this new order as something that sounded like a militaristic world dictatorship.

"I wouldn't give up on the U.N. yet," he said. "I think we are realizing that we are going to have to have an international rule of law. We need not only an executive to make international law, but we need the military forces to enforce that law and the judicial system to bring the criminals to justice before they have the opportunity to build military forces that use these horrid weapons that rogue nations and movements can get hold of – germs and atomic weapons."

He spoke openly about the need for America to give up its national sovereignty.

"American people are going to begin to realize they are going to have to yield some sovereignty to an international body to enforce world law, and I think that's going to come to other people as well," he said. "It's a fair distance to get there, but we are not ever going to get there unless we keep trying to push ourselves onto the road."

And by the way, I think it's interesting to note that the person who gave the introductory remarks at the 1999 World Federalist Association event (when Cronkite picked up his Global Governance award) was none other than the woman who is now our Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

Russian President shows reporters example of “united future world currency”

In a highly symbolic moment at the G8 summit in Italy today, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev unveiled to reporters a coin representing a “united future world currency”.

“We are discussing both the use of other national currencies, including the ruble, as a reserve currency, as well as supranational currencies,” the Russian leader said at a news conference.

However, those who have downplayed the formulation of a world currency by dismissing it as merely a progression of SDR’s (Special Drawing Rights) and not something that would physically be used by citizens in a system of world government, were contradicted when Medvedev clearly outlined that the new currency would be “used for payment” by citizens as a “united future world currency”.

“This is a symbol of our unity and our desire to settle such issues jointly,” Medvedev said.

For Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the monetary future is now. At his closing press conference, Medvedev held up a golden coin bearing the words “united future world currency,” which he said was minted in Belgium and handed to G-8 attendees.

“Even the mints” are thinking about a post-dollar world, Medvedev said. The test coin “means they’re getting ready.”

So once again, we see that the mainstream media buries the important stories, while overloading the American sheeple with the stuff that's much less important. Our so-called "major media" felt it was important to give us wall-to-wall Michael Jackson coverage for almost two weeks... but they're largely ignoring this story.

I'm no genius, but let's think this through here:
Who would issue this "united future world currency" that Medvedev is proposing? ... a united future world central bank?
And who would/could have the authority to administer such a central bank of the world?... a united future world government? Hmmm?

This thing is coming out of the shadows more and more. Truly, Satan is busy, building his endtime kingdom for the coming Antichrist. But still, most of the world is sleeping -- thanks in large part to a compliant media that has decided that the world government movement is not something that's important for the rest of us to know about. (Unfortunately, there are a lot of Christians too, who are oblivious to whats' going on, which is pretty sad in itself.)

Thank God for the internet, and for the fact that we dont have to rely on the major news outlets any more, to know what's really going on in our world.

For many years the notion of an Orwellian society where one-world government oversees the smallest details of our lives and in which human liberties are abandoned was considered anathema.

The idea that rugged individualism would somehow be sacrificed for an anesthetized universal harmony was repudiated by America’s greatest minds. Then, in the 1970’s, things began to change. Following a call by Nelson Rockefeller for the creation of a “New World Order,” presidential candidate Jimmy Carter campaigned, saying, “We must replace balance of power politics with world order politics.” This struck a chord with international leaders including President George Herbert Walker Bush, who in the 1980s began championing the one-world dirge, announcing over national television that the time for “a New World Order” had arrived. The invasion into Kuwait by Iraq/Babylon provided perfect cover for allied forces to engage the Babylonian “prince” by launching Desert Storm against Saddam Hussein’s forces, an effort Bush made clear was “to forge for ourselves and for future generations a New World Order… in which a credible United Nations can use its… role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.’s founders.” Following this initial statement, Bush addressed the Congress where he added:

“What is at stake is more than one small country [Kuwait], it is a big idea—a New World Order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind…. Such is a world worthy of our struggle, and worthy of our children’s future…. the long-held promise of a New World Order…” [1]
