Pro Basketball player visits Darfur

Really good video here from ESPN.com regarding NBA player Tracy McGrady's visit to witness first hand the effects of the genocide in Darfur, Sudan.

This Darfur situation is one of the worst genocides the world has ever known, yet it's gotten relatively little attention. I wish all our US Senators and congressmen would go and see it for themselves. Maybe then this would be a more high priority item for the US goverment to pay attention to. As much political energy as we've invested into the Israel-Palestinian situation, this situation in Darfur deserves as much or more attention.

One only wonders how much longer this thing will drag on.
