Lutherans to allow pastors in gay relationships

The madness continues. It's reported today that the 4.8 million member Lutheran Church in America denomination has voted to allow clergy members who are in homosexual relationships to serve as pastors.

Simply breathtaking. I dont even feel like going on one of my "fire and brimstone" rants here. At the end of the day, you just arent going to stop some people from going to hell. They'll just rush headlong into it like they just want to go there. The Bible speaks plainly: "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is the way of death".

Of course, these people obviously dont pay that much attention to the Bible anyway; they couldnt have , of course, or they wouldnt have reached the decision they just did.

The resolution passed by a vote of 538-431. “The Church ... has just said, ‘Do not do punishments,’” said Phil Soucy, spokesman for Lutherans Concerned, a gay-lesbian rights group within the church. “That is huge.” ...
