Atheists launch ad campaign on buses

So a bunch of atheists in the UK have decided to wage an anti-God publicity campaign.

Two scriptures came to mind when I read this news story:

Woe
unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; (Is. 5:20)

... the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; ( 2 Thess 1:7-9)

How sad. These people dont seem to realize that they're playing with fire...literally.

LONDON, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Atheists in England have become anti-holy rollers, taking out rolling ads on 800 buses to get out their point of view that God likely doesn't exist.

The Atheist Bus Campaign raised about $200,000 to run ads on buses with the message "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life," The New York Times (NYSE:NYT) reported Wednesday.

The idea for the campaign started with Ariane Sherine, a comedy writer who saw a religious ad on a bus last summer that directed readers to a Web site that warned non-believers would go straight to hell and "spend all eternity in torment."

She found that rather extreme and it prompted her to formulate a response that ultimately led to 800 buses carrying the atheist message.

Not everyone likes it.

"I think it's dreadful," said Sandra Lafaire, 76, a tourist from Los Angeles. "Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I don't like it in my face.

I like this one: "The fool has said in his heart, 'there is no God.'" Psalm 14:1.
