Article: The Case For A Global Currency

It was interesting to run across this recent article on Salon.com that attempts to mak the case for a single global currency.
It actually reminds me of this financial times article "And Now For World Government", which spelled out a case for having a single global government.

This thng of single world currency is a big deal. The US dollar has been the defacto world standard for many years, but the world is losing confidence in the US dollar and US economy as a whole, largely due to America's staggering and unsustainable debt levels. Talk of establishing a world currency has been batted about for years by economists and political leaders, and you can be sure such talk will get louder as time goes on.

The simple question is, if there is a global currency established, wouldn't there have to be a global authority to manage it? In essence, a global central bank to issue this currency, and to implement monetary policy concerning this world currency? Certainly.

Real simple, it comes down to this: global community... global economy... single global currency... global central bank... global government. All these concepts are inextricably linked. The push toward a single global currency is just one more step toward the One World Government that prophecy watchers have talked about for years. The world is being pushed in this direction for a reason, and the citizens of the world will end up accepting this, not really knowing who/what is behind it.

The Devil is building his One World kingdom, one brick at a time. The people of God had better pay close attention to whats going on.

The Case For A Global Currency

This article was adapted from the upcoming book, "The End of Money," in bookstores Feb. 14 from Da Capo Press.
In the age of globalization, what does it mean, really, to be from one country and not another? We have some easy answers, along the lines of language, shared history, cultural references, and geography. I grew up cheering for the Red Sox, not the Hiroshima Carp, so that adds to my American-ness. I had to learn about the Federalist Papers in high school. I pay taxes and vote here. All of these things, some minor, some major, contribute to my sense of being part of this country.
Greenbacks do too, whether I like it or not. The coins and banknotes of a place are one of the few remaining touch-points of national identity left in our increasingly digital world. The monuments, symbols, and famous people splashed on them help reinforce this sense of nationhood. But as representations of the currency, they do more than that, because the currency is both the fabric of the economy and the stitching of the state. Even Marco Polo saw this in China, as the currency pulled a vast kingdom together under one umbrella of economic organization.
In recent times, though, having a national currency, at least for smaller countries, is looking more and more anachronistic. At the minimum it should be up for debate. Benn Steil, an economist at the Council on Foreign Relations, told me that when he lived in Europe in the 1990s, the old saying was that to be a country you needed an airline, a stock exchange, and a currency. By the twenty-first century, that was hardly the case: airlines had merged or gone bankrupt, stock exchanges had consolidated, and the euro had become the dominant currency of the continent. In the years ahead, more and more small countries may decide to quit their currencies and adopt that of a more powerful neighbor (the Australian dollar in parts of Oceania, for instance), band together with nearby countries to form a currency block (e.g., the East African Monetary Union), or jump aboard an international powerhouse like the U.S. dollar or the euro.
All kinds of factors could sway this decision: runaway inflation, fear of currency crises, too little infrastructure to manage the cash supply, an unexpected rash of counterfeits, hope of greater competitiveness in global trade, and the wish to put an end to potentially dangerous speculation about the currency’s worth next week or next year.

An Empire at Risk - The Looming Collapse Of America As We Know It

In one of the most sobering and disturbing articles I've read recently, Newsweek magazine has a rather detailed article making the case that the American Empire is facing an almost inevitable collapse, perhaps sooner rather than later -- and one not caused by any foreign enemy, but by its own decades-long fiscal irresponsibility.

From the article:

An Empire at Risk

We won the cold war and weathered 9/11. But now economic weakness is endangering our global power.

Excerpt:

"Already, the federal government's interest payments are forecast by the CBO to rise from 8 percent of revenues in 2009 to 17 percent by 2019, even if rates stay low and growth resumes. If rates rise even slightly and the economy flatlines, we'll get to 20 percent much sooner. And history suggests that once you are spending as much as a fifth of your revenues on debt service, you have a problem. It's all too easy to find yourself in a vicious circle of diminishing credibility. The investors don't believe you can afford your debts, so they charge higher interest, which makes your position even worse.

This matters more for a superpower than for a small Atlantic island for one very simple reason. As interest payments eat into the budget, something has to give—and that something is nearly always defense expenditure. According to the CBO, a significant decline in the relative share of national security in the federal budget is already baked into the cake. On the Pentagon's present plan, defense spending is set to fall from above 4 percent now to 3.2 percent of GDP in 2015 and to 2.6 percent of GDP by 2028.

Over the longer run, to my own estimated departure date of 2039, spending on health care rises from 16 percent to 33 percent of GDP (some of the money presumably is going to keep me from expiring even sooner). But spending on everything other than health, Social Security, and interest payments drops from 12 percent to 8.4 percent.

This is how empires decline. It begins with a debt explosion. It ends with an inexorable reduction in the resources available for the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Which is why voters are right to worry about America's debt crisis. According to a recent Rasmussen report, 42 percent of Americans now say that cutting the deficit in half by the end of the president's first term should be the administration's most important task—significantly more than the 24 percent who see health-care reform as the No. 1 priority. But cutting the deficit in half is simply not enough. If the United States doesn't come up soon with a credible plan to restore the federal budget to balance over the next five to 10 years, the danger is very real that a debt crisis could lead to a major weakening of American power."

--------------
Essentially, our nation (our government, in particular) is committing slow-motion suicide with it's continual accumulation of debt, which is on the way to becoming simply unmanageable. There is good reason to believe, from a Biblical and prophetic standpoint, that the American Empire is destined to fall anyway, to make way for the coming New World order, and a united Europe as the world's preeminent superpower.

However, even for those who disagree with this view, the fact is almost undeniable at this point-- America is headed for an economic shipwreck, and there's nothing to indicate that our nation's leaders are inclined to do anything to stop it.

New EU president wants Copenhagen to give us “global management”

Newly minted President of Europe, Herman Von Rompuy, has wasted no time confirming his New World Order desires.
Note this key quote from the video below:

"2009 is also the first year of global governance, with the establishment of the G-20 in the middle of the financial crisis. The Climate Conference in Copenhagen is another step towards the global management of our planet."

Copenhagen: a step closer to one-world government?

James Delingpole of the British-based Telegraph newspaper makes some interesting observations regarding the recent Copenhagen climate change summit sponsored by the United Nations.

Keep in mind that this is a stated strategy by the one-world elites for decades: incrementalism - step by step progress rather than trying to do it all at once. Consider this 1974 quote by Richard Gardner of the Council on Foreign Relations:

"The 'house of world order' will have to be built from the bottom up rather than the top down, ..."It will look like a great 'booming, buzzing confusion' ... but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.... [F]or political as well as administrative reasons, some of these specialized arrangements should be brought into an appropriate relationship with the central institutions of the UN system."

or these two from way back in 1931...

"We are at present working discreetly with all our might to wrest this mysterious force called sovereignty out of the clutches of the local nation states of the world. All the time we are denying with our lips what we are doing with our hands....

-Professor /Historian Arnold Toynbee, in a June l931 speech before the Institute for the Study of International Affairs in Copenhagen.

"If there are those who think we are to jump immediately into a new world order, actuated by complete understanding and brotherly love, they are doomed to disappointment. If we are ever to approach that time, it will be after patient and persistent effort of long duration. The present international situation of mistrust and fear can only be corrected by a formula of equal status, continuously applied, to every phase of international contacts, until the cobwebs of the old order are brushed out of the minds of the people of all lands."

-Dr. Augustus O. Thomas, president of the World Federation of Education Associations (August 1927), quoted in the book International Understanding: Agencies Educating for a New World (1931)

or, a bit more recently ...

"In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn't such a great idea after all."

- Strobe Talbott, Former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State in the Clinton administration, 1992

and...

"Today, I say that no nation in the world need be left out of the global system we are constructing."

--Madeleine Albright, Harvard University commencement., June 5, 1997

“Throughout the world, there is a clamor for change. That desire was evident in November, in an event that could become both a symbol of this need for change and a real catalyst for that change. Given the special role the United States continues to play in the world, the election of Barack Obama could have consequences that go far beyond that country

Mikhail Gorbachev, the former head of state of the USSR, January 1, 2009,

Frankly, it amazes me that people who are otherwise intelligent and informed will look at you today and deny that the push toward world government really exists or should be taken seriously. Truly, “ignorance is bliss”, as they say.

Anyway... back to the news article in question:

Copenhagen: a step closer to one-world government?

You have to be careful when talking about “One World Government.” Sooner than you can say “Bilderberg”, you’ll find yourself bracketed with all the crazies, and conspiracy theorists and 9/11 Truthers. But I don’t think you need to be mad to be concerned about the issues raised by Lord Monckton in this speech.

Monckton believes that climate change hysteria is being exploited by the green liberal left – watermelons, as they’re nicknamed: green on the outside; red on the inside – to usher in a form of one world government. He claims to have seen evidence of this in a draft treaty due to be signed off by world leaders at this December’s Copenhagen climate change conference.

It will, he believes, in rich nations having as much as 2 per cent of their GDP diverted to third world countries – supposedly to compensate them for the evils wrought by two centuries or so of Western industrialisation; and tough new climate change rules to be imposed on Western economies by UN bureaucrats over which sovereign nations (and their electorates) will have no control.

I don’t know how accurate he is on the specific details, but Monckton is certainly right in principle. The climate fear industry is, I believe, the single greatest threat to national sovereignty (as we’ve already seen under the EU, with its directives on carbon emissions, landfill etc) and individual liberty of our era.

Businessweek: The Case for a Global Central Bank

Businessweek Magazine now makes the case for a Global Central Bank.
The article speaks for itself. Those who still insist that we aren't creeping toward world government are either sadly misinformed, or are just kidding themselves.

------------
The Case for a Global Central Bank
With world finance increasingly intertwined, we'll need one sooner or later

By Jeffrey E. Garten

When the finance ministers and central bankers of the world's 20 largest economies gather in Pittsburgh on Sept. 24, they can congratulate themselves for averting a 1930s-type meltdown. But nothing the G-20 has done, or is likely to do, will prevent or substantially moderate the next global crisis. That will require deep-seated, global financial reforms. And for such change to take root, something else will be needed: the establishment of a global central bank.

I can hear the howls of critics. World Government! A Conspiracy of Bankers! In the U.S. Congress the aversion to such an institution would make the dogfight over health care look like a genteel dinner party. So right now there is zero chance that the U.S.—and other countries, such as China, that zealously guard their sovereignty—would support the idea. But if critics could suspend the hyperventilating for a few minutes, they'd realize a global central bank is becoming a necessity in today's complex, interconnected world economy.

News Article: "A year after financial crisis, a new world order emerges"

McClatchy Newspapers

One year after the near collapse of the global financial system, this much is clear: The financial world as we knew it is over, and something new is rising from its ashes.
Historians will look at September 2008 as a watershed for the U.S. economy.

On Sept. 7, the government seized mortgage titans Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Eight days later, investment bank Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy, sparking a global financial panic that threatened to topple blue-chip financial institutions around the world. In the several months that followed, governments from Washington to Beijing responded with unprecedented intervention into financial markets and across their economies, seeking to stop the wreckage and stem the damage.

One year later, the easy-money system that financed the boom era from the 1980s until a year ago is smashed. Once-ravenous U.S. consumers are saving money and paying down debt. Banks are building reserves and hoarding cash. And governments are fashioning a new global financial order.

Congress and the Obama administration have lost faith in self-regulated markets. Together, they're writing the most sweeping new regulations over finance since the Great Depression. And in this ever-more-connected global economy, Washington is working with its partners through the G-20 group of nations to develop worldwide rules to govern finance.

Building a New World Order for the Man of Sin

Excellent Article by Thomas Horn, auther of the upcoming book "Apollyon Rising":

By Thomas Horn Sunday, June 7, 2009

Author of the upcoming book, Apollyon Rising

“The outcome of the ‘secret destiny’ is a World Order ruled by a King with supernatural powers. This King was descended of a divine race; that is, he belonged to the Order of the Illumined for those who come to a state of wisdom then belong to a family of heroes-perfected human beings.”—Manly P. Hall, The Secret Destiny of America.

Events unfolding since 9/11 portend a near future in which a man of superior intelligence, wit, charm, and diplomacy will emerge on the world scene as a savior. He will seemingly possess a transcendent wisdom that enables him to solve problems and to offer solutions for many of today’s most perplexing issues. His popularity will be widespread and his fans will include young and old, religious and non-religious, male and female. Talk show hosts will interview his colleagues, news anchors will cover his movements, scholars will applaud his uncanny ability at resolving what has escaped the rest of us, and the poor will bow down at his table. He will, in all human respects, appeal to the best idea of society. But his profound comprehension and irresistible presence will be the result of an invisible network of thousands of years of collective knowledge. He will, like the god Vulcan, represent the embodiment of a very old super-intellegent spirit. As Jesus Christ was the “seed of the woman” (Gen. 3:15), he will be the “seed of the serpent.” Moreover, though his arrival in the form of a man was foretold by numerous Scriptures, the broad masses will not immediately recognize him for what he actually is—paganism’s ultimate incarnation; the “beast” of Revelation 13:1.

It’s been assumed for centuries that a prerequisite for the coming of Antichrist would be a “revived” world order—an umbrella under which national boundaries dissolve, and ethnic groups, ideologies, religions, and economics from around the world, orchestrate a single and dominant sovereignty. At the head of the utopian administration, a single personality will surface. He will appear to be a man of distinguished character, but will ultimately become “a king of fierce countenance” (Dan. 8:23). With imperious decree he will facilitate a one-world government, universal religion, and global socialism. Those who refuse his New World Order will inevitably be imprisoned or destroyed until at last he exalts himself “above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he, as God, sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (2 Thess. 2:4).

For many years the notion of an Orwellian society where one-world government oversees the smallest details of our lives and in which human liberties are abandoned was considered anathema.

The idea that rugged individualism would somehow be sacrificed for an anesthetized universal harmony was repudiated by America’s greatest minds. Then, in the 1970’s, things began to change. Following a call by Nelson Rockefeller for the creation of a “New World Order,” presidential candidate Jimmy Carter campaigned, saying, “We must replace balance of power politics with world order politics.” This struck a chord with international leaders including President George Herbert Walker Bush, who in the 1980s began championing the one-world dirge, announcing over national television that the time for “a New World Order” had arrived. The invasion into Kuwait by Iraq/Babylon provided perfect cover for allied forces to engage the Babylonian “prince” by launching Desert Storm against Saddam Hussein’s forces, an effort Bush made clear was “to forge for ourselves and for future generations a New World Order… in which a credible United Nations can use its… role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.’s founders.” Following this initial statement, Bush addressed the Congress where he added:

“What is at stake is more than one small country [Kuwait], it is a big idea—a New World Order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind…. Such is a world worthy of our struggle, and worthy of our children’s future…. the long-held promise of a New World Order…” [1]

Ever since the President’s astonishing newscast, the parade of political and religious leaders in the United States and abroad pushing for a New World Order has multiplied...

Russian President may push 'new world currency'...

The drive toward a new global currency continues. This is nothing but bad news for the US Dollar, as America's steady decline as a world power, and the rise of the New World Order, continues right before our eyes.
-------------

June 2 (Bloomberg) -- The dollar dropped to its lowest level against the euro this year on speculation record U.S. borrowing will undermine the greenback, prompting nations to consider alternatives to the world’s main reserve currency.

The 16-nation euro gained for a fourth day versus the dollar as the Russian government said emerging-market leaders may discuss the idea of a supranational currency. The pound strengthened to $1.65 for the first time since October.

“There’s been a lot of talk out of Russia about a new global currency, and that’s contributing toward this latest bout of dollar weakness,” said Henrik Gullberg, a currency strategist at Deutsche Bank AG in London. “These latest comments are just adding to the general dollar weakness we’ve seen recently.”

President Obama's New Approach to a New World Order?

Sunday 19 April 2009

by: Wilmer J. Leon III, Ph.D., t r u t h o u t | Perspective

On September 11, 1990, President George H.W. Bush (Bush 41) addressed a joint session of Congress with a speech entitled "Toward a New World Order." In this speech he articulated the United States' objectives for post-Cold War global governance in cooperation with post-Soviet states:

Until now, the world we've known has been a world divided - a world of barbed wire and concrete block, conflict and Cold War. Now, we can see a new world coming into view. A world in which there is the very real prospect of a new world order. In the words of Winston Churchill, a "world order" in which "the principles of justice and fair play ... protect the weak against the strong ..." A world where the United Nations, freed from Cold War stalemate, is poised to fulfill the historic vision of its founders. A world in which freedom and respect for human rights find a home among all nations.

In the 20th and early 21st centuries, a number of world leaders, such as Woodrow Wilson, Winston Churchill, Mikhail Gorbachev, Henry Kissinger and Gordon Brown, have used the term "new world order" to refer to a new period of history evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power. When President Bush 41 used the term, his phrasing sent shock waves through the Christian and secular hard-right world, since for decades the phrase has been used to represent a collectivist One World Government.

Obama and the Coming Global Government

Joseph Farah's article on WorldNetDaily.com begs a simple question: Why is there little or no media attention being paid to Barack Obama's call for a global regime?

Here is the quote, made in Prague on April 5th, 2009 : "All nations must come together to build a stronger, global regime. That’s why we must stand shoulder to shoulder to pressure the North Koreans to change course."

The Random House dictionary defines regime as:

1. a mode or system of rule or government: a dictatorial regime.
2. a ruling or prevailing system.
3. a government in power.
4. the period during which a particular government or ruling system is in power.

Thus, in this context, the meaning is fairly straightforward -- a global regime is a global system of government. These words are as significant as President George Bush's words in 1991 calling for a New World Order.

"Now, we can see a new world coming into view – a world in which there is the very real prospect of a New World Order."

Yet, Obama calls for a "stronger global regime", and the media is strangely silent. It just shows again that we can't wait for the media to be our watchdog. The fact is, they'll emphasize what they want to emphasize, and ignore what they want to ignore. We have to pay attention ourselves to what's going on.

I fully expect to hear more globalist/New World Order talk in the coming years from Obama and his administration.

Hugo Chavez in China Touts 'New World Order'

So now we have another world leader promoting the idea of a New World Order. This time, its Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.

There are some who for a long time viewed the whole "New World Order" topic as just something touted by "prophecy nuts" and conspriracy theorists. However, more and more we're seeing that the idea is one being embraced by leaders all around the world. It's only a matter of time before it comes to fruition. Indeed, the economic collapse we're seeing now is a part of the process, because in order for there to be a new world order there has to be a collapse or dismantling of the present world order, which is exactly what we're seeing now.

Dark days are ahead, but I'm reminded of Jesus's words in Luke 21:6-36.

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

APRIL 8, 2009,
Associated Press

BEIJING --Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez says his two-day visit to Beijing this week is part of the creation of a "new world order."

The frequent U.S. critic told reporters that power in the world is shifting from America to countries such as Iran, Japan and China.

"We are creating a new world, a balanced world. A new world order, a multipolar world," Mr. Chavez said on arriving in China the evening before a scheduled Wednesday meeting with China's president and Communist Party leader Hu Jintao.

"The unipolar world has collapsed. The power of the U.S. empire has collapsed," he said. "Everyday, the new poles of world power are becoming stronger. Beijing, Tokyo, Tehran .. It's moving toward the East and toward the South."

Terence Corcoran: Is this the end of America?

Great article by Terence Corcoran of NationalPost.com.
Speaks for itself. Excerpt below:

Helicopter Ben Bernanke’s Federal Reserve is dropping trillions of fresh paper dollars on the world economy, the President of the United States is cracking jokes on late night comedy shows, his energy minister is threatening a trade war over carbon emissions, his treasury secretary is dithering over a banking reform program amid rising concerns over his competence and a monumentally dysfunctional U.S. Congress is launching another public jihad against corporations and bankers.

As an aghast world — from China to Chicago and Chihuahua — watches, the circus-like U.S. political system seems to be declining into near chaos. Through it all, stock and financial markets are paralyzed. The more the policy regime does, the worse the outlook gets. The multi-ringed spectacle raises a disturbing question in many minds: Is this the end of America?

A New Day In America... Post-Inauguration Thoughts 1-21-2009

One thing is for sure. 2008 was the year journalistic integrity died. If anyone seriously thought we had an objective media before, the 2008 presidential campaign proved to us just how much of a left wing/liberal slant the media has. It got to the point where some of them didn’t even try to pretend to be fair and balanced.

John McCain? Nice guy I suppose, but 2008 probably just wasn’t going to be his year, media bias or not. Short of having Jesus Christ as his running mate, it just wasn’t going to happen for him. But he certainly carried himself with dignity, so I give him kudos for that (although I thought he should have spoken up more when some of the unnamed aides close to him were throwing Sarah Palin under the bus)

Frankly, it’ll be interesting to see how long he honeymoon lasts. The media likes to build people up and then turn on them like a pack of wolves when they smell blood. This same media that helped build up Barack Obama as the rising star during the early campaign was circling like a pack of hungry wolves when the Jeremiah Wright story looked like it might seriously damage or kill his campaign in early 2008.

Obama has expectations on him that are beyond anything we’ve ever seen for any incoming president – expectations that are, as a whole, simply unrealistic. The fact is, as president you can’t please everyone, and tough choices have to be made, so it’s guaranteed that many of his supporters are going to be disappointed (or upset) when he doesn’t do some things they want him to, or does some things they don’t want him to. I certainly want him to do well, but it’ll be interesting to see how the slanted media and the left wing political crowd handles it when he has his share of stumbles, as every president does.

As a conservative Christian, there’s a lot to be concerned about with an Obama presidency. His very liberal tendencies are something to keep an eye on as well as his Socialist ties from the past (although the media buried that story). But in the end, we’re stuck with Obama for the next 4 years at least. I wasn’t a fan, and still am not, but whether you wanted him as president or not, he is our leader now, and we should all wish him success. His success will be good for America. If he does badly, America will do badly.

It’s clear to me though, that no matter who is president, those who are pushing for a one world government will still have their way, regardless of what party is in power. Look for more of the same in terms of the North American Union, and the formation of regional political/economic blocs such as the African Union, Mercosur, etc. The march toward a New World Order will continue without missing a beat.

So having said all that, here we are, 1-21-09, the first full day of a new regime. I’m still getting used to the idea of saying President Obama, after saying President Bush for the past eight years. Like him or not, the fact is,we should all recognize that this is a big deal in terms of America’s racial healing, which is still an ongoing process. It was only a generation ago (1968) that Martin Luther King got assassinated for seeking racial equality in this country. In the 60’s blacks in some part of he country were still fighting for their voting rights, lynching in the South were still a risk for blacks and even those whites who marched side-by-side with them for equality. There are some still alive today who still carry in their bodies the scars of bite marks from police dogs, when all they were doing is protesting injustice. It must have been unthinkable to them at that time that a generation later some of those same people would live to see an African-American man sworn in as president. I’m not a fan of Obama’s politics, but I couldn’t help but smile when I saw him being sworn in. America has come a long way in a relatively short time. God bless America.

And Christians… lets not forget to pray for President, Barack Hussein Obama. It’s not just a suggestion -- it’s a biblical command:

1I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

(1 Tim 2:1-3)

May God continue to bless America.

Russian analyst predicts decline and breakup of US

This Russian political analysts might actually be on to something. Prophecy watchers have been predicting the decline of America for decades now. The idea of an actual breakup of he USA sounds a bit far-fetched to me, but the idea of political and economic decline seems not only likely, but inevitable.

And it's not just that America is declining. It's also that the rest of the world is quickly catching up. We're headed toward a New World Order. With the decline of the USSR, we had the US left as the worlds only superpower. Those days are destined to come to and end, as we head toward a multi-polar world. Will it be a soft landing, or will it be a hard crash? Time will tell.

If it gets as bad as some think it will, America's house-of-cards economy could collapse, and the Federal government could default on its debts. A weakened America is just what the One World Government globalists have wanted for decades. Perhaps now their dream has come that much closer to coming true. I have feeling this could get very ugly before it starts getting any better.

---------------------------

MOSCOW, November 24 (RIA Novosti) - A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.

Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily Izvestia published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."

The paper said Panarin's dire predictions for the U.S. economy, initially made at an international conference in Australia 10 years ago at a time when the economy appeared strong, have been given more credence by this year's events.

When asked when the U.S. economy would collapse, Panarin said: "It is already collapsing. Due to the financial crisis, three of the largest and oldest five banks on Wall Street have already ceased to exist, and two are barely surviving. Their losses are the biggest in history. Now what we will see is a change in the regulatory system on a global financial scale: America will no longer be the world's financial regulator."

Africa, South America Marching Toward World Govt.

Just saw in the news today that rock singer and human rights activist Bono is calling for a United States of Africa.

I find this interesting, especially since African nations have been talking openly about unifying their nations, to create a stronger African Union similar to the European Union, with its own flag, military, and currency. Article here.

And recently, South Americans governments recently agreed to form a Union of South American Nations very similar to - you guessed it - the European Union. Article here.

And of course lets not forget the North American Union, which some would like to pattern after... what else?... the European Union.

Regionalization as a step toward globalization. Regional governments as a step toward One World Government. The picture is getting clearer every day.

It's amazing to me that people still try to deny this is really happening.

Ron Paul On The New World Order Conspiracy

This is a few years old, but I dug this one up while browsing through the archives earlier.

Its not very often than a nationally known politician speaks openly on their thoughts about the New World Order/One World Government theory. Republican Congressman Ron Paul of Texas gives his thoughts here, in this video dated about 2003-2004.

Ex Mexican President : North American Currency on the Way

I'll just start this by saying simply: We were right all along.

I'm not shocked by much in todays current events, but I was a bit stunned to see former Mexican president Vicente Fox admitting what the so-called "endtime fanatics" and "conspiracy theorists" have been saying for while now. There is a plan to unite the Americas and to eventually create a single regional currency, similar, in a sense to the "Eurodollar" . He referred to it as a "long term" plan. However, its a plan nonetheless, and one the government isn't bothering to tell us about.

Allow me to just remind my readers of something. what is now known as the European Union (EU) began years ago as the European Coal and Steel Community, which morphed into the European Economic Community (EEC), then the European Community (EU), to its present form as the EU. That is also the plan for North America. It's always easier to begin with an economic unity, as a prelude to eventual political unification.

The concept is simple: regional government, as a stepping stone to eventual world government. Some have mocked the idea of the North American Union as being a fantasy, such as the left wing group People for The American Way, which referred to it as the "mythical North American Union") . TTheir ignorance notwithstanding, the N.A.U. is looking less and less "mythical" as time goes by.

Maybe the "crazy conspiracy theorists" were right all along. (Of course, if something is the TRUTH , it really shouldn't be considered just a "conspiracy theory", but thats another story.)

Not surprisingly, very few in the news media said much about Fox's comments. Thanks again to WorldNetDaily for carrying the story.

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox confirmed the existence of a plan conceived with President Bush to create a new regional currency in the Americas, in an interview [October 8th] on CNN's "Larry King Live."

It possibly was the first time a leader of Mexico, Canada or the U.S. openly confirmed a plan for a regional currency. Fox explained the current regional trade agreement that encompasses the Western Hemisphere is intended to evolve into other previously hidden aspects of integration.

According to a transcript published by CNN, King, near the end of the broadcast, asked Fox a question e-mailed from a listener, a Ms. Gonzalez from Elizabeth, N.J.: "Mr. Fox, I would like to know how you feel about the possibility of having a Latin America united with one currency?"

Fox answered in the affirmative, indicating it was a long-term plan. He admitted he and President Bush had agreed to pursue the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas – a free-trade zone extending throughout the Western Hemisphere, suggesting part of the plan was to institute eventually a regional currency.

"Long term, very long term," he said. "What we proposed together, President Bush and myself, it's ALCA, which is a trade union for all the Americas."

ALCA is the acronym for the Area de Libre Comercio de las Américas, the name of the FTAA in Spanish.

King, evidently startled by Fox's revelation of the currency, asked pointedly, "It's going to be like the euro dollar (sic), you mean?"

"Well, that would be long, long term," Fox repeated.

Fox noted the FTAA plan had been thwarted by Hugo Chavez, the radical socialist president of Venezuela.

"Everything was running fluently until Hugo Chavez came," Fox commented. "He decided to combat the idea and destroy the idea."

Fox explained that he and Bush intended to proceed incrementally, establishing FTAA as an economic agreement first and waiting to create an amero-type currency later – a plan he also suggested was in place for NAFTA itself.

Expert: Amero Coming Within Decade

Lets see how long the so-called mainstream media types continue to deny the coming North American Union. You can only keep the lid on this thing for so long. Interestingly, drudgereport.com, one of America's most highly trafficked websites, posted a link to this wordnetdaily.com article entitled : "Amero Coming Within Decade".

The US Dollar's value has dropped precipitously, and is now roughly even in value with the Canadian dollar. This dollar weakness will give even more impetus to the unifying of the American, Canadian, and Mexican currencies into one. Give it time. It's coming.

The formula is simple: regional economic unity, as a step before political unity; regionalization, as a step toward globalization; and all this as a step toward a one world government.

The wnd article is below.

BankIntroductions.com, a Canadian company that specializes in global banking strategies and currency consulting, is advising clients that the amero may be the currency of North America within the next 10 years.

"The amero would compete against other regional currency blocks," BankIntroductions.com says. "At present, with the Canadian dollar approaching par, more talk for an amero currency unit will become popular in Canada."

The company says that with the successful implementation of NAFTA, "the one dragging component for the amero will be Mexico, but in time this will change."

"Implementation of the amero currency may actually give Mexico an economic boost, thus helping to alleviate Mexican immigration pressures into the United States for those Mexicans seeking financial gain," BankIntroductions.com advises.

"The amero one day may well be circulating throughout North America."

Matt Bell, president of BankIntroductions.com, told WND in an e-mail to "feel free to quote our currency research on Canada. Our general opinion on the amero stands as stated."

As WND reported, coin designer Daniel Carr has issued for sale a series of private-issue fantasy pattern amero coins that have drawn attention on the Internet.

WND also reported the African Union is moving down the path of regional economic integration, with the African Central Bank planning to create the "Gold Mandela" as a single African continental currency by 2010.

The Council on Foreign Relations also has supported regional and global currencies designed to replace nationally issued currencies.

In an article in the May/June issue of Foreign Affairs, entitled "The End of National Currency," CFR economist Benn Steil asserted the dollar is a temporary currency.

Steil concluded "countries should abandon monetary nationalism," moving to adopt regional currencies, on the road to a global "one world currency."

WND previously reported Steve Previs, a vice president at Jeffries International Ltd. in London, said the amero "is the proposed new currency for the North American Community which is being developed right now between Canada, the U.S., and Mexico."

A video clip of the CNBC interview in November with Jeffries is now available at YouTube.com.

WND also has reported a continued slide in the value of the dollar on world currency markets could set up conditions in which the adoption of the amero as a North American currency gains momentum.

CNN/DOBBS: W FULFILLS HIS DAD'S DREAM OFA NEW WORLD ORDER

Another reason why the Republicans cant be trusted any more than Democrats. At the end of the day, the elites are in charge, and their goal is a New World Order. Bush's dad wanted it , and GW Bush today is helping to bring it into being also. Too bad the American sheeple arent paying attention.

The Immigration Bill and the New World Order

I heard a lot of conservative radio hosts crowing this week about defeating the immigration bill, which just died in the Senate. Personally, I saw no reason to celebrate, since I'm 200% certain the same bill will rise from the dead and be approved one way or another. In a recent article, conservative pundit Pat Buchanan said a few days ago what few witers out there are willing to say (or seem to know). That the immigration bill that recently failed in the US Senate is part of a bigger picture. His words:

"The fundamental reason this bill is not dead is that its authors and backers will never quit. For this legislation is part of a larger agenda of a large slice of America's economic and political elite.
What is that agenda?

They have a vision of a world where not only capital and goods but people move freely across borders. Indeed, borders disappear. It is a vision of a "deep integration" of the United States, Canada and Mexico in a North American Union, modeled on the European Union and tied together by superhighways and railroads, where crossing from Mexico into the United States would be as easy as crossing from Virginia into Maryland. It is about the merger of nations into larger transnational entitles and, ultimately, global governance."

There it is, plain and simple. I could hardly have said it better myself. I wish all Americans understood that the immigration bill still being discussed in the Senate is part of a larger overall plan to create the North American Union, which is another stepping stone toward eventual One World Government. Few people seem to realize whats going on here; unfortunately most Americans still seem to be asleep on this issue. But let it be understood, the immigration/amnesty bill is not dead, and will never really be dead. The elites want it to happen. It is part of their plan. so it will happen. Believe it.
