Creeping Toward World Government

The Council on Foreign Relations is promoting a new report called Building a North American Community. If that has a familiar ring to it, just think of the words "European Community", and remember what that led to. First there was the European Community, which became the European Common Market, which later became the European Union, which is on it's way to becoming a superstate and a superpower in its own right.

Their report is available online. Interestingly it proposes on single passport for North American nations, and has other proposals dealing with security, military cooperation, labor and trade, education, mutual economic development, and more. Cooperation and integration are the name of the game, and the European Union (EU) pattern clearly seems to be something they had in mind when they put this togeher. This is the same EU whose leaders have gone on record as saying they see today's EU as a revival of the old Roman Empire. We're on the way to the New World Order. The books of Daniel and Revelation talk about this. People need to wake up and see what's happening.

First NAFTA, then the Free Trade Area of the Americas, now the North American Community? I'ts clear that there are people above us who have a clear direction of where they want this thing to go. Where is this all heading? And when one keeps in mind the African Union, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and other regional groups, and it's becoming clearer and clearer that the world is moving from nationalism to regionalism. I expect a North American Community to become like the EU eventually. I look for a regional bloc to develop in South America too, as well as other regional blocs around the world. Just one more step toward world government.

Deanna Spingola has a good commentary on the North American Community here. Clearly she feels the powers that be are "selling America". And I think she's right.

Skeptics might say this is just some fundamentalist "one world government" conspiracy babble, with no basis in fact. Skeptics will always be skeptics, so we cant let that deter us. Keep in mind though a quote from a EU/UN report called "The New World Order After September 11" : "We could order the world on the basis of existing regional cooperation organizations: the European Union, ASEAN, Mercosur, NAFTA, the African Union, the Arab League and SAARC in southern Asia. In this context, we should also include countries like China, Russia and Japan, and the whole of Oceania. We need to take a first step down the path towards a global form of federalism, a structure where the reality of an increasingly interactive world is finally made a political reality too. In fact, a structure of this kind was already planned when the United Nations was created in 1945, but was never implemented after the Cold War."

The Mohammed Images Are Not New.

Repost. Orignially posted March 20, 2006.

Millions protesting worldwide. Dead bodies lying in the streets. Over what, some cartoons? But why now? Despite what some would have you believe, printed images of Mohammed are not a new thing. The Mohammed Image Archive gives proof of that.

The Mohammed Image Archive is a compendium of images that depict Mohammed (the 7th-century founder of Islam), spanning all historical periods, cultures and genres. The inspiration for this Archive came from the global controversy over the publication of Mohammed cartoons in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, and the need for a comprehensive and even-handed look at the wide variety of Mohammed depictions in Islamic and Western societies from the Middle Ages until today.

View the Mohammed Image Archive, and decide for yourself : http://www.zombietime.com/mohammed_image_archive/
The open question remains, not just why the protests, and why the violence, but WHY NOW?

Article: Negative Perception Of Islam Increasing

A Washington Post article says that Americans have an increasingly negative view of Islam.

Quote: "As the war in Iraq grinds into its fourth year, a growing proportion of Americans are expressing unfavorable views of Islam, and a majority now say that Muslims are disproportionately prone to violence, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll. The poll found that nearly half of Americans -- 46 percent -- have a negative view of Islam, seven percentage points higher than in the tense months after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center..."
(Gee, they had to do a poll to find that out?)

We've been hearing for years now that the West (and America in particular) has to improve its image in the Islamic world. Lets see now, after seeing muslims kill 3000 americans on 9/11/01, beheading innocent westerners in Iraq, killing Christians and other non-muslims in Sudan, and more recently seeing people lying dead in the streets worldwide over some offensive cartoons, the real question might be this: Does the west have to improve it's image with the islamic world, or does the islamic world have to improve its own image?

Online Preaching (Audio and Video)

Online audio and video from North Park Apostolic Church, pastored by Joel Trout.

Oneness vs Trinity Debate

This is an oldie but goodie. Online audio of the Oneness vs Trinity Debate between Apostolic Pentecostal Pastor/Author David K Bernard and Baptist Pastor Gene Cook. This was held at the Apostolic Doctrinal Conference 2000 held at North Park Apostolic Church.

It is a bit long (2 hrs, 3 mins) but it's a good listen for sure.

The Hypocrisy of The American Left

Repost. Originally posted Feb-28-2006

So the liberal media and the left in general is all worked up over the Muslim cartoons shown recently in European newspaper. They say it was an unneccesary provocation. And frankly, I agree. (Not that anything justifies the hundreds fo people killed and injured worlwide because of it.)

However, why wasn't the left get similarly perturbed when Andres Serrano was touring the art world with his vile P--- Christ photograph, which showed a crucifix sumberged in his urine? When Christians got all worked up about that, leftists in media, academia, and politics, came to his defense, citing "artistic freedom". In their eyes, Christians just had to set aside their religious sensibilities in the name of freedom of expression.

Interesting. If an artist were to show a Koran, or a picture of Mohammed, submerged in urine, you'd better believe we'd have similar protests worldwide too, along with numerous death threats (and dead bodies lying in the streets before long). And predictably, the leftists would chastise any such "artist" for "unneccesarily provoking" the Mulsim world and "disrespecting the Muslim religion". Just seems to me that if you want to disrespect a religion today, there's only one religion you can blaspheme against get away with it with no problem: and that is Christianity.

I notice that many liberals, even the non-religious ones, will bend over backward to protect and defend Islam for some reason - while their criticisms, of "religious intolerance", for example, are usually reserved for Christianity. I wonder how much of this is because deep down, they know they dont have to worry about Christians acting as sucide bombers, or burning their buildings down when they insult us. Methinks their "respect" of Islam has a lot to do with fear of Islam. Don't think so? Maybe you haven't been looking closely enough. Peace.

Lies Sell Like Hotcakes, While Truth Gets Buried.

Michael Moore made millions with his movie Fahrenheit 911. But how many people actually saw the rebuttal documentary Fahrenhype 9/11 ? Very few. Michael Moore has such a history of lying that it's amazing that he has any credibility left with the American public. Then again , since most people dont know that Michael Moore's Lies have been documented over and over, he keeps finding an audience.

Now if a conservative filmmaker had been found to have put so many inaccuracies and blatant falsehoods in his movies, would the mainstream media let him get away with it? (Yes, I know - dumb question.)

Someone once said "A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on." So true.

"There is No Liberal Media" ... and other lies.

The next time someone tells you that there is no liberal bias in the media. Just give them 2 words: Dan Rather. Obviously, the issue of media bias is a lot more multi-layered than that; but Dan Rather is exhibit A in the discussion. Here's a man whose bias has been so obvious over the years, but he gets a free pass from the, um, liberal media, because he's one of their own, of course.

The website RatherBiased.com documents over and over this man's history of blatant left leaning bias. I mean, there's a reason why his viewership was like 70% Democrat. It's so hypocritical to me to see these leftists love to pontificate about how Fox News is right-leaning... as if they don't see the blatant liberal bias at CBS, the New York Times, and others. I guess in the end, people only see what they want to see.

Darwin on Trial. Good Stuff Here.

There's a great online video presentation here showing the fallacy of Darwinism and the theory of eveolution. Presentaton was by Phillip Johnson, author of Darwin on Trial at the University of California, Berkeley. Great stuff.

Another Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

OK. Can I just tell you? I'm kind of annoyed right about now. I'm on a mailing list for The Learning Annex, which has many good self help courses on business, real estate, how to publish your first book, etc. But it also has a lot of psychic/New Age stuff too. So I open an mail from them and I get some invitation to a class being taught by some Dr. David Morehouse guy, on "remote viewing". I know enough about remote viewing to know what it is. Remote viewing is essentially a form of astral projection, essentially stepping outside your body in a sense, to see things far away you couldn't normally see in the natural physical realm. And yes, its very demonic. Then again, a lot of demonic stuff is now going mainstream. For those who think Dr. Morehouse's stuff is all benign, and not spooky/"spiritual", keep in mind he's also the author of a book called "Psychic Warrior". Enough said.

When I signed up to be on these people's mailing list, I didn't sign up to receive all kinds of New Age/psychic/paranormal garbage. These people are doing the devil's work without even know ing it. I think of all the curious people who will sign up for this man's class and get sucked into something that's so much more powerful than they even understand. Very sad. The Devil is busy, people. I'm reminded of it every day.

There's More To Music Than Meets The Ear

Fight The Good Fight Ministries has an interesting list of exposes some of music's most popular stars. The demonic influence in pop music has always been there; that hasn't been a big secret. But Joe Schimmel's site is a real eye opener, the way he puts it all together. Check out his free 28 minute preview of his DVD series "They Sold Their Soul For Rock And Roll". Very well researched. Pretty jaw-dropping stuff.

Anglican Blindness on the Gay Issue

So this story hits the news. The Rev. Bonnie Perry and the Very Rev. Robert Taylor (pictured) are 2 openly gay ministers among 5 candidates running for bishop of Seattle. Some in the Anglican church are split over the issue because the Anglican Communion frowns upon the idea of openly gay ministers becoming bishops.

OK.So let me get this straight (pardon the pun): They have no issue with someone being a gay minister per se, just being a gay bishop. But if homosexuality is wrong for bishops, why is it ok for regular ministers? I thought sin was sin, period. So with them, you can pastor a church and have a same-sex lover, and its not an issue; just dont try to run for bishop - that'll be a problem. Is this blindness, hypocrisy, or both?

Is it something in the water, or what? This is just craziness. It's like I'm surrounded by a cloud of amorality and spiritual blindness. I guess it's just John 3:19 come to life - "....this is the condemnation, light has come into the world, but men love darkness rather than light"

Lord help us.

A False Messiah In Miami

OK. So we all know Jesus said false Christs would come. But where are they? You usually wont see them covered in the mainstream news media. So are they really out there?

The answer is a resounding YES!! Take for example, José Luis De Jesús Miranda, who says that he is Jesus Christ. (Yes he actually does say that). J. Lee Grady actually has a good article on him here. His 300 "churches" have 100,000 members, and his TV program reportedly reaches about 2 million viewers. Another article on him can be found here.

Is this guy for real? Believe it. On his own website he tells you he is Jesus.

Christians only need to bear in mind Matthew 24:5 - "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall deceive many".

It's happening, people, and this is only the tip of the iceberg.

The Madness Continues

Repost. Originally posted Feb-19-2006

So now Muslim rioters kill 16 people in Nigeria protesting some cartoons that they say insulted their religion. They attacked and burned Christian churches, killing innocent people. Someone please explain to me what Christians in Nigeria had to do with cartoons printed in Denmark and other parts of Europe. The answer, of course, is NOTHING! Just another excuse for a bunch of deluded radical Islamists to foment hatred against those who don't agree with them. And this is the so-called "religion of peace"? Please. Enough said.

And while we're at it, why doesn't the media address the widespread practice of anti-Jewish and anti-Christian cartoons routinely shown in Arab Muslim countries? Seems to me like today's media is bending almost making a concerted effort to NOT show both sides of this issue. Why? Are they afraid of becoming victims of radical Muslims themselves? As much as the media likes to demonize Christians (such as the "Christian Right), it's interesting how they seem to be trying not to show the real dark side of radicalist Islam in the world today. Still the violence speaks for itself. Even with a compliant media tiptoeing around the issue, the truth about radical Islam can't be hidden.

Keep your eyes open, folks. Keep them open

The "Offensive" Mohammed cartoons...

Repost. Originally posted Feb-9-2006.

It amazes me how something can be factual but totally go virtually unreported by the so called mainstream media. Turn out those cartoons that have caused so much uproar in the Muslim world had been printed 4 months ago by an Egyptian newspaper. It ruffled a few feathers then, but caused no uproar to speak of. Now those "evil" Europeans have published the same cartoons and it's "blasphemy" worthy of Jihad against the West. Yeah, whatever. Thank God for alternative media like WorldNetDaily, which reported this story. This just proves to me even more that, too often, you cant trust the mainstream media. Read the story here.

And Speaking of Terrorists...

For a read thats compelling, and disturbing at the same time, check out this book by terrorism expert Steven Emerson: American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us. You can pick one up used on Amazon.com for only a few bucks. Highly recommended.

If an independent author can find out so much information about these people in our own country, why isn't our government doing more to root out and deport these people? I'm guessing we wont really pay attention to some of these homegrown terrorists till after the next 9/11-type incident happens. Again, thats our government at work.

While Our Government Sleeps...

updated 6/19/07

... terrorist training camps seem to operate almost totally under the radar. Camps like this are known to be in existence in various locations in the US and Canada. I guess our government won't pay attention till somebody from one of these camps blows up an America movie theater or nightclub or something. These are your tax dollars at work, folks. Don't you just love it?

Are we going to have to wait for a repeat of 9/11 to get serious about this stuff?

Yes, another Robert Tilton Article

Oh boy. The hits just keep on coming. Another article I ran across on good ol' Robert Tilton. No, this isn't Bash-Robert-Tilton day. I just thought this article was fascinating in its own way.An interesting read, albeit disturbing and aggravating at the same time. If there ever was a financial predator, this guy is it. God help him - and us!

As an aside, I see his former wife Leigh Valentine is now selling beauty products, both online and on tv. (Just a piece of useless trivia I thought I'd throw in.) I remember when she was running Leigh Valentine Ministries back in the day. My, how things have changed. Sad story. Blessings on her, too.

Why I'm No Fan of Robert Tilton

This is not a new story, but I ran across it on the web, and it just shows why this man is such a cancer, doing such a disservice to the gospel of Christ. His is not a gospel of salvation, but a gospel of money and greed.

A woman who worked briefly for his ministry tells her story:

"Patricia Morrow said she worked for Mail Services Inc. for two days in 2001, opening letters addressed to "Rev. Tilton" and taking out the cash. Morrow, 63, said she got the job through an employment agency. Morrow said she worked for two days in the basement of the Kennedy Building in an old bank vault opening hundreds of letters. The building at 321 S. Boston Ave. is the same address where Tilton prayer requests were found in Dumpsters in 1991. "They were all addressed to this Rev. Tilton," Morrow said of the letters she opened. "You're sat down in a cubicle and given a letter opener. You have bundles and bundles of mail and a trash bin beside you. You slice open the envelope, take the money out and throw the letter away in the bin." She said another employee came by to empty the trash bins regularly and a manager collected the cash and checks from employees who opened the letters. "The bins are picked up and emptied into trash sacks and put into a special room. They weren't there the next day." Morrow said there was no attempt to keep the letters together and it was apparent that no one planned to read them. But Morrow read many of them during her two days with Mail Services Inc.

"You cannot help but read them," she said. "All these letters were like, 'Pray for me,' because they were terminal or their son is terminal or there was no money for food . . . desperate situations." She said nearly all of the letters she opened were from rural Florida or rural Georgia and they often contained cash in odd amounts. "There would be like $17, and the letter would say, 'I realize I have to give $2 more than I usually give.' " She described the letter writers as lonely homebound people in rural areas wanting help from God. "

This man had better get it right before he goes to meet his Maker. Read the story here.

Satnic Blue Jeans?

OK. So this guy in Sweden decides to design and market some anti-Christian jeans. The logo of these jeans has a skull and an upside down cross on it. (The upside-down cross is a well known Satanic symbol.) And the designer's purpose? Well, it's to make a statement that he thinks Christianity is "evil", and he has a "great dislike for organized religion". The makers say it’s a joke, but the logo’s designer said there’s a deeper message. ‘’It is an active statement against Christianity,'’ Bjorn Atldax said. He also states that Christianity has been the cause of wars throughout history.

Well if this guy knows his history he'd notice that wars have been started by quite a few religions; like Islam for example. Of course he'd never design anti-Muslim jeans. If he did, within seconds he'd have radical Islamists issuing a fatwa against him for blasphemy! He'd be a dead man walking, and he knows it. Look what happened when muslims worldwide were insulted by some cartoons of Mohammed. Imagine the reaction if this man were to design anti-Islamic jeans and proclaim that Islam is "evil". Fuggedaboutit!! The guy says he's againt "organized religion" Isn't Islam an "organized religion"? Hmmm....

Of course, my point is not that he should insult Islam. My point is that he wouldnt dare do it. So when it's time to insult someones religion in today's culture, bashing "organized religion" really comes down to just bashing Christianity. It's just so easy, so convenient. Which leads to this question: Do these people really respect Islam, or are they just afraid of it? My theory: its not respect, it's simply fear. They're afraid. Very afraid (and with good reason too).

It's kinda funny to me that people, like this guy, who say they have a problem with organized religion really have a problem with Christianity in particular, and they know they can get away with insulting Christianity more so than any other religion.

I just hope true Christians notice whats going on here. The climate is changing... and I'm not talking about the weather. Peace.

Vatican cardinal condemns U.S.-Mexico fence

VATICAN CITY - A senior Vatican cardinal on Tuesday condemned the building of walls between countries to keep out immigrants and said Washington’s plan to build a fence on the U.S.-Mexican border was part of an “inhuman program”.

Cardinal Renato Martino made his comments at a news conference presenting Pope Benedict’s message for the Roman Catholic Church’s World Day of Migrants and Refugees, in which the Pope called for more laws to help immigrants integrate.

“Speaking of borders, I must unfortunately say that in a world that greeted the fall of the Berlin Wall with joy, new walls are being built between neighborhood and neighborhood, city and city, nation and nation,” said Martino, head of the Vatican’s Council for Justice and Peace...

-----
Really? An inhuman program? Since when is it inhuman for a country to build wall on its border? Arent there walls and fences on the borders of many countries in the world? So why pick on this particular border between the US and Mexico?

Ironically, Mexico is known to have a fence and border guards on its southern border with Guatemala. So is it ok for Mexico to keep illegal aliens out of their country, but it's wrong for us to do the same? The insanity never ends.

Then again, a cynical mind might think that this Cardinal is just one of many who recognizes that having a flood of illegal Mexicans and other Central Americans enter the US is just another step toward a new North American Community some are trying to build, similar to the European Union. Integration of the US, Canada, & Mexico is not just a concept, but a hope and a plan that many in high places hope to bring to fruition.

"The North American Community?" some might ask? That's the whole point. Many hav never even heard of it, but that doesnt make it any less real - and it's coming for sure.
